Political thriller looking at the effect the war on terror has on a disparate group of Americans. Gorefest with a message, as 'Ronald Reagan' takes an axe to those damned hippies. When a bunch of hippies decide to hold a festival in the woods, to the annoyance of the locals, they soon find themselves being stalked by a psychopath in a Ronald Reagan mask. As he chops and slashes his way through the revellers, most are too stoned to believe anything is going on, or that they could do anything about it anyway. The analogy with America's foreign policy is pointedly drawn - the hippies fiddling while Iraq burns. 'Reagan' even has a killer dog called Nancy and a pig named George W fed on limbs. Politics aside, there's plenty of gratuitous blood-letting to keep fans of the genre happy.
